Introduction to using WordPress to build Websites. Plus... Ask WordPress questions

The first part of the meeting will be an introductions to using WordPress to create web sites. WordPress has been thought of as a tool to create blogs, but it is equally useful to create a ‘standard’ website. We will begun with an over few and introduction to WordPress and how it compares to other tools. This presentation is meant to show you what is possible with WordPress and not a step by step setup of WordPress.

Then at 2:30 pm we are offering one-on-one help, quality over quantity. No pre-booked time slots. One or two experts on a schedule for first come first served. There will be a 15 minute time limit with a hard cap at 20 minutes if anyone else is waiting for help. We’ll try to help you with your problem or do our best to point you in the right direction!

This idea was inspired by the Apple Store’s genius bar where they offer a little one on one help to get you past a road block or start you off in the right direction.
